The wrong diet is the main reason why most people experience excessive flatulence and stomach bloating. In order to decrease flatulence, we should be aware, at all times, which foods should be avoided and which foods should be eaten. Below are some of the main foods which make up an important part of our flatulence remedy which are not gas producing and which can, in fact, reduce flatulence and bloating.
Fruit
There are 2 types of fruit; those which are high in soluble fiber and those which are high in non-soluble fiber. Those which are high in soluble fiber are preferable because they are easier to digest and do not generate much gas.
Fruits from the citrus family such as, lemons, oranges, tangerines, grapefruits, are considered flatulent. Additionally, fruits such as bananas, prunes and apricots should be avoided unless you are accustomed to eating them.
